Tacko Fall 'hungry and determined' after signing with Celtics

Celtics fans celebrated the signing of Tacko Fall on Thursday, but the 7-foot-7 phenom knows there still is plenty of work to be done.

The signing still doesn't guarantee Fall a spot on the active roster, so that'll be the next goal for the Celtics Summer League sensation when camp gets underway. After the signing was announced, Fall sent a message on social media that shows he's more than ready to take on that task:

Check it out below:

As if C's fans didn't already have enough reasons to buy into Tacko-mania.

Along with Tacko, the Celtics also officially announced the signings of rookies Tremont Waters, Max Strus, and Javonte Green.

Fall averaged 7.2 points, 4 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks during Summer League action.

Celtics center Enes Kanter gifts Bill and Hillary Clinton with Celtics jerseys

Celtics center Enes Kanter gifts Bill and Hillary Clinton with Celtics jerseys

Enes Kanter has made quite a few headlines on social media since joining the Boston Celtics this offseason. And on Monday night, he continued to make some waves.

Kanter posted pictures of himself meeting with former president Bill Clinton and former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. Kanter gifted both with custom Celtics jerseys and detailed a conversation he had with Bill in a recent tweet.

Clinton's savvy Kyrie Irving joke shows that he must be following the team. Perhaps he became a Celtics fan when he attended law school at Yale. But either way, his allegiance appears to be with the Celtics.

According to another tweet, Kanter was meeting with the Clintons to discuss human rights violations in Turkey. The Turkish Kanter has openly spoken out against Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

This likely won't be the last time that Kanter meets with political figures during his Celtics career.

Celtics owner Wyc Grousbeck teams up with Michael Jordan, other NBA owners to launch ultra-premium tequila

Celtics owner Wyc Grousbeck teams up with Michael Jordan, other NBA owners to launch ultra-premium tequila

What do the Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Lakers, Charlotte Hornets, and Milwaukee Bucks all have in common?

No, they didn't all make the playoffs last year. The Lakers and Hornets didn't quite make the cut last year.

No, they're not all in the Eastern Conference. Though the Lakers used to reside in Minneapolis, they are a member of the Western Conference.

Do you give up? Well, the answer is that their owners are partnering together to launch a high-end tequila company, Cincoro Tequila. Darren Rovell was among those that reported the news on Monday, along with the cost per bottle.

This project will involve some of the most influential owners in the NBA in long-time Lakers owner and executive Jeanie Buss, Hornets owner and one of the greatest to play the game of basketball, Michael Jordan, Bucks owner Wes Edens, and, of course, Celtics owner Wyc Grousbeck and his wife, Emilia Fazzalari.

It will be interesting to see if this company pans out. If it does, certainly expect Cincoro to have a presence in the NBA. And who knows? Maybe it will have a bit of a presence with the Celtics once it launches.
