Terry Rozier sends blunt message to Celtics' critics after Bulls rout

The Boston Celtics took some heat during their slow start to the 2018-19 season.

Now, Terry Rozier is giving it back.

The Celtics guard addressed his team's critics quite directly Saturday night following Boston's 133-77 win over the Chicago Bulls, the team's biggest win in franchise history.

"We've won our last couple games so we want to keep it going," Rozier said. "And everybody can shut up. Because everybody's been very annoying when we've been losing. Very annoying."

You heard the man.

Early criticisms of the Celtics weren't exactly unwarranted, as the preseason favorite to win the Eastern Conference stumbled to a 10-10 record out of the gate.

The C's have won five games in a row since then, though, with Rozier averaging 11.4 points per game over that span. And considering Rozier and his teammates knew it would take time to hit their stride with Gordon Hayward returning to the lineup, they probably didn't appreciate folks writing them off before Christmas.

Rozier made that much very clear Saturday night.
