Tommy Heinsohn goes crazy after Marcus Smart's ridiculous three

Marcus Smart hit one of the most improbable shots of the season in the Boston Celtics' 112-110 win over the Indiana Pacers on Friday night.

Late in the fourth quarter, the two teams were tied up at 107. The shot clock was winding down and the Celtics were still moving the ball around. The ball ended up with Marcus Smart out by the three-point line and he launched a prayer with just a second on the shot clock.

He nailed the shot. It was a perfect swish.

Even better than the shot was the immediate reaction that it elicited from the Celtics' color commentator, Tommy Heinsohn. After the ball went in the hoop, Heinsohn, a long-time member of the Celtics organization and broadcast team, let out an exultant yell as the Celtics took a three-point lead later in the contest.

The Smart shot wasn't even the game winner (this layup from Kyrie Irving was), but the spark from the play certainly gave the team the energy necessary to finish off a much-needed win over the Pacers.
