It appears the Boston Celtics will have Tristan Thompson for Wednesday night's season opener vs. the Milwaukee Bucks.
The new Celtics big man, who has been limited throughout camp with a hamstring strain, was not listed on the team's injury report on Tuesday. Tacko Fall (right eye irritation), Romeo Langford (right wrist surgery) and Kemba Walker (left knee strengthening) each were ruled out.
Stevens recently issued an encouraging update on Thompson's status, so all signs point toward the former Cleveland Cavalier being ready to suit up for the first time as a Celtic. The C's head coach wasn't as optimistic about Walker, who will be sidelined until at least January after receiving a stem cell injection in his knee.
Celtics-Bucks is set for a 7:30 p.m. ET tip-off Wednesday night.
