Larry Bird is one of the greatest players in Boston Celtics and NBA history, and the Basketball Hall of Famer was at TD Garden for Sunday's Game 1 of the first-round playoff series between the C's and Indiana Pacers.

Larry Legend received a thunderous ovation from Celtics fans when he was shown on the jumbotron during the third quarter. Check out the cool moment in the video below:

Bird, of course, is from Indiana and attended Indiana State University, where he led the Sycamores to the 1979 national championship game. He also coached the Pacers from 1997-98 through 1999-00, and served as the team's president of basketball operations for more than a decade before stepping down in 2017.

Bird isn't the only notable Boston sports figure at the Garden for the series opener. New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft and running back Sony Michel also are in attendance.
