Before Monday game against the Dallas Mavericks, Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum took a moment to give a special gift to a military family.

Tatum met the son of U.S. Air Force TSgt. Meldy Shehu courtside. And after a brief conversation, Tatum signed a basketball and took off the shoes he was wearing and gifted both to Shehu's son.

That's certainly a heartwarming gesture by Tatum and is a great way to help honor the troops and their families on Veterans Day.
