The NBA and NBPA reportedly have agreed to stage the 2021 All-Star Game on March 7 in Atlanta, and the Boston Celtics could have multiple players participating in the matchup.

Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown both are playing at a high level this season. Tatum is averaging a team-leading 26.8 points, along with 7.3 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game. Brown is averaging a career-high 26.4 points and shooting 42.4 percent from 3-point range.

Both players are deserving of an All-Star spot, and you also could make a strong case that one of them should start in the game.

The league released the first round of All-Star Game fan voting Thursday afternoon. Here's where Tatum and Brown stand in the opening batch of results.

Tatum has two former MVP winners and 76ers center Joel Embiid -- who's having the best season of his career -- in front of him. Brown has a former MVP (James Harden), an elite guard (Kyrie Irving) and the league's leading scorer (Bradley Beal) above him.

Tatum received his first All-Star selection last season when he got in as a reserve. Brown was among the biggest snubs a year ago, but should get his first nod in 2021.
