Yes, Marcus Smart just tied Danny Ainge on Celtics' all-time 3-point list

Does Marcus Smart miss a lot of 3-pointers? Yes. Has he made the same or more 3-pointers than all but eight players in Boston Celtics history?

... Also yes.

Smart's 3-pointer in the second quarter of Saturday's game against the Chicago Bulls was the 348th long ball of his Celtics career.

That ties Smart with his boss, Danny Ainge, for ninth on Boston's all-time 3-pointers made list.

Never mind that Smart has attempted 1,178 career 3-pointers and made just 29.5 percent of them. Or that he went 0-for-5 from beyond the arc in Thursday's win over the New York Knicks.

Nope, we're focusing on the facts: that Smart is one of the Celtics' 10 most productive 3-point shooters of all time.

And considering the 24-year-old is in just his fifth NBA season, he could make serious moves on this list if he stays in Boston for a while.

C's fans might be wary of Smart learning about this stat and taking even more attempts behind the arc, but he is shooting (relatively) better this season, as his 31.3 3-point percentage would be a career high.
