A Boston sports fan's guide to Amazon Prime Day

It's the most wonderful time of the year for online shoppers. On Monday and Tuesday, Amazon Prime members will find exclusive discounts on items. Among those Prime members, assuredly, are many Boston sports fans on the prowl for some deals.

Here are some of our favorite picks for New England fans for this annual shopping holiday:

1. Patriots tailgate tent
$107.99 with 20% Prime Day discount

In the dog days of July, Pats diehards can not only daydream about tailgate season, they can also prepare. This nine-by-nine cover provides 81 square feet of shade and one reviewer raved about how easy it is to assemble. It looks perfect for Sunday afternoon tailgating and, until the NFL season begins, family trips to the beach.

2. Red Sox helmet desk caddy
$23.18 with 20% Prime Day discount

In The Office, Michael Scott loves to spice up his Dunder Mifflin desk with toys. In New England, regional managers — or anyone with a desk — can decorate their desks, show off their Boston sports pride and organize their pens in one item. The handy desk caddy also has a slot to hold business cards. As Michael Scott once said, "nifty gifty!"

3. Boston Bruins logo evolution banner
$18.74

Through the years, the Bruins have sported several different team logos. From the block letters to today's stoked "B," this tasteful banner takes a look at the Original 6 franchise's historic logos. Though it's not technically a Prime Day deal, Prime members still get seven dollars (28%) off the original price.

4. Patriots officially licensed backpack
$24.06 with 47% Prime Day discount

Amazon is giving Pats fans a massive discount on this sweet backpack. The bag's original listing price is $45 and is officially licensed with the NFL, so we know it's legit. 35 customer reviews gave it a 3.9 out of 5 stars, and one customer called it a "Very nice clean design and quality material. Great gift for anyone at any age."

5. Kyrie Irving mini hoop
$12 with 20% Prime Day discount

Just kidding. Now that Kyrie Irving has ditched Boston for Brooklyn, we're honestly surprised it's not more marked down. Perhaps if you're a Brooklyn Nets fan, this could be an opportunity for a gag gift for your die-hard Celtics friend.

6. Fenway Park wall art
$35.95 with 22% Prime Day discount

Fenway Park and Boston are inseparable. This 11-by-14 print provides a cool take on the ballpark's relation to the city, as the Boston skyline above Fenway is replaced with a map of Boston. The photo also comes ready to frame.

Best of the 2010s: Picking our favorite sports moments of the decade

Naming the best Boston sports moment of the decade is an impossible task.

With so many options to choose from, it's eye-opening just how fortunate New England has been over the last 10 years to witness countless unforgettable moments across all of its teams.

From Malcolm Butler's Super Bowl-winning interception to Jayson Tatum dunking on LeBron James in the Eastern Conference Finals, Boston sports has had a little bit of everything for everyone. As difficult as it is to narrow it down to one favorite moment, our NBC Sports Boston staff came up with a great variety of choices.

Here were their picks. . .

Best of the 2010s: Picking our favorite Boston teams of the decade

The 2010s have been very kind to Boston sports fans. In total, the teams have won six championships -- three for the Patriots, two for the Red Sox, one for the Bruins -- and there have been countless deep playoff runs during the decade as well.

But picking a favorite of those teams? That's no easy task.

Plenty of the Boston teams this decade have had talent. But some have really embodied the personality of the city. Some overachieved to absurd heights. And one was able to pick up the city after one of its darkest days and give it something to rally around.

There is a lot to like about the teams that have played this decade. Picking a favorite team is difficult, but that's exactly what we asked our NBC Sports Boston on-air talents to do as the 2010s wind to a close.

Without further ado, here's a look at their picks.
