As Tom Brady and the New England Patriots head to West Virginia for joint practices with the New Orleans Saints, the Deflategate saga rages on.
Speaking with WFAN, New York Giants owner John Mara said, "I just want it to be over with one way or the other,” Mara said. “We’re all tired of hearing about it."
With another meeting between the two sides looming on Wednesday, Tom E. Curran explains why this case is very important for the NFL and Roger Goodell now that it has reached this point.
"If they get overturned on this in appeal and it's vacated, they've now taken a real blow to that Article 46," said Curran. "They've lost a lot of power with the NFL being able to implement its own investigations, arbitrate its own investigations, deal with its own appeals."
