FBI's Comey uses hating Patriots as analogy in congressional testimony on Trump vs. Clinton

Those Patriots-Donald Trump connections just won't stop. On Monday, they were part of congressional testimony.

As FBI Director James Comey and National Security Administration chief Adm. Mike Rogers testified before the House Intelligence Committee, Comey was questioned about Russian hacking in the election and its connections to the Trump campaign.

Comey, a New Jersey native and New York Giants fan, in a tongue-in-cheek way, we hope, used his hatred of the Patriots as an analogy of how much the Russians hated Hillary Clinton and how they wanted her opponent, now-President Trump to win the election.

When questioned by Rep. Rick Crawford, R-Arkansas, it was pointed out that despite Comey's "hatred" of the Pats, Crawford wanted to thank the FBI for its help in reportedly solving the mystery of Tom Brady's stolen Super Bowl jerseys.

When Crawford asked Rogers about the Pats, Rogers pledged his allegiance to the "Chicago Bears, all the way."
