Report: Marshawn Lynch agrees to deal with Raiders

So much for Marshawn Lynch coming to Foxboro.

Lynch and the Oakland Raiders have agreed to terms to a new contract, NFL Network's Mike Silver and Mike Garafolo reported Friday. The Seattle Seahawks still hold the rights to the running back, so a trade needs to be worked out for Lynch, who is from Oakland and starred in college at Cal in nearby Berkeley.

The Boston Herald’s Jeff Howe reported earlier this week that Lynch, 30, had expressed an interest in joining the Patriots.

Lynch last played in the NFL in the 2015 season with the Seahawks, but injuries limited him to seven games.

He has rushed for 9,112 yards and 74 touchdowns and caught 252 passes for 1,979 yards and 10 TDs in nine seasons with the Seahawks and Buffalo Bills.
