Reports: Blandino leaving as NFL officiating chief to work in TV

Share

Dean Blandino is leaving his job as the NFL’s senior vice president for officiating to take a television analyst job.

Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network was first to report the news of Blandino's departure.

Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reports that Blandino will join Mike Pereira as FOX rules analyst.

Florio was among those originally reporting that Blandino, who was chief of officiating since 2013 and a key figure for the NFL in its case against Tom Brady in the Deflategate saga, was joining CBS, which quickly denied that.
