Revolution vs. D.C. United live stream: Revs aiming for Top 6 in East

Despite a heartbreaking loss to the New York Red Bulls on an 89th minute goal Wednesday night, the New England Revolution were still able to clinch a trip to the postseason.

Now comes the Revs' next goal: making it into the Top 6 in the Eastern Conference and qualifying for the First Round of the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs, avoiding the play-in match. In this year's playoff format, only the top six teams in the East qualify directly to Round 1, while the No. 7 seed faces the No. 10 seed and the No. 8 seed faces the No. 9 seed in play-in matches.

"Our goal right now is finishing the season strong so we’re in the best position to have home-field advantage and to not have to play that play-in game,” said Revs forward Teal Bunbury.

However, home-field advantage hasn't exactly been kind to the Revs this season. New England has just one win in nine games (1-3-5 record) at Gillette Stadium this season, but the Revs do carry a 2-0-1 record against D.C. United this season into tonight's contest.
