The New England Revolution offense had struggled recently, but that was not the case during Wednesday's match against the Montreal Impact.
The Revs cruised to a 3-1 victory with goals from Henry Kessler, Gustavo Bou, and Diego Fagundez. Goalkeeper Matt Turner notched four saves in the win
Kessler opened the scoring with his first MLS goal:
Bou extended the lead to two goals in the 49th minute:
Then it was Fagundez giving the Revs some insurance:
Turner's shutout bid was spoiled in the 86th minute as Emanuel Maciel was able to get one past him for the Impact.
For the Revs (4-3-6, 18 points), it's their second winΒ in their past six games. Next up is a matchup against DC United on Sunday at 7 p.m.
