The New England Revolution didn't go down without a fight, but the Philadelphia Union were able to come through at the end to take down the Revs on Saturday night, 2-1.

It was scoreless until the 73rd minute, when Anthony Fontana put one past Matt Turner to put Philadelphia ahead.

The Revs didn't take long to respond. In the 81st minute, Tajon Buchanan tied it up at 1.

Just when the game appeared to be headed toward a draw, Fontana had other ideas. The Union midfielder put Philadelphia's second goal in the net, and that turned out to be the game-winner.

The loss brings New England to 3-3-5 on the year and seventh in the Eastern Conference standings. Next up for the Revs on the schedule is New York City FC with a matchup on Saturday, Sept. 19.
