The New England Revolution roster will look a little different when the 2020 MLS season resumes.
The Revs announced Monday they have acquired forward Kekuta Manneh from FC Cincinnati in exchange for a 2020 international roster slot. This roster slot will return to New England on Jan. 1, 2021.
The 25-year-old winger is in his seventh MLS season, and the Revolution will be his fourth team. He has scored 30 goals with 18 assists in 149 career MLS appearances.
New England also announced a trade with the Houston Dynamo. Here are the details of the deal:
Revs receive: Tommy McNamara, $150,000 in 2020 allocation money and $25,000 in 2021 allocation money Dynamo receive: Wilfried Zahibo and a 2020 international roster slot (this slot will return to New England on Jan. 1, 2021)
McNamara also is in his seventh season, and the Revs are his third team. The 29-year-old midfielder has scored 16 goals with 17 assists in 129 career MLS appearances.
The Revolution continue their 2020 MLS campaign Thursday, Aug. 20 against the Philadelphia Union at Gillette Stadium.
