Antonio Brown not ruling out any team in potential trade from Steelers

Antonio Brown wants to keep all options on the table entering the 2019 season.

The Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver told ESPN's Gary Striewski at the NBA All-Star Game on Sunday he's open to playing for any team willing to trade for him.

Brown's answer was in response to Striewski asking him if he had talked to New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, who also was at the All-Star Game in Charlotte.

"Not yet, but I'm just excited about the opportunity," Brown said. "Any team that shows interest, I'm excited about the commitment to play football. So, whatever teams give me the opportunity, I think they'll be excited about it."

Of course, Brown's desires and the Steelers' best interests are two different things. The MMQB's Albert Breer recently reported Pittsburgh wouldn't be willing to trade Brown to the Patriots, considering they're a primary competitor in the AFC.

But the 30-year-old wideout is less discriminatory.

Brown has officially requested a trade and expanded his rift with the Steelers by calling out quarterback Ben Roethlisberger in a recent tweet. He's under contract at least until the 2020 season, however, so Pittsburgh isn't obligated to move him.

If the Steelers are willing to trade him, they'll likely demand a king's ransom, as they'd have to absorb a $21 million cap hit on his contract in 2019. The receiver-thin Patriots buying high on Brown would be out of character, but AB clearly isn't ruling anything out on his end.
