Antonio Brown's agent releases statement after Patriots cut WR

The Patriots parted ways with Antonio Brown on Friday, 11 days after signing the troubled wide receiver.

Shortly after Brown's release, his agent Drew Rosenhaus came out with the following statement via Twitter:

If Brown indeed is given yet another chance, he'd be joining his fourth team in the past year. The 31-year-old was traded from the Steelers and released by the Raiders before being cut by the Patriots.

Any team that picks up Brown would be taking on plenty of baggage. On Sept. 11, he was accused of sexual assault and rape in a federal lawsuit. On Friday morning, intimidating text messages sent by Brown to one of his accusers were leaked to the public. The NFL, according to Sports Illustrated, is currently investigating those messages.

Brown played one game with the Patriots, tallying four catches for 56 yards and a touchdown vs. the Dolphins in Week 2.
