The Best at 56: Top NFL Draft picks taken with 56th selection

Share

Heading into the 2019 NFL Draft, no team has more picks than the New England Patriots, who own a dozen selections, including six in the first 101 picks.

That includes one first-rounder, two second-rounders, and three third-rounders — and the Pats are hoping for better luck in the second round this time around.

After the retirement of Rob Gronkowski, only one second-round pick from the past nine drafts is currently on the roster (Duke Dawson, 2018).

Notable recent misses include Cyrus Jones, Jordan Richards, Aaron Dobson, Tavon Wilson, and Ras-I Dowling.

Will New England have better luck this year, with picks No. 56 and 64 in the second round? Tom E. Curran checked out past drafts and found the best players taken with the 56th overall selection.
