The Patriots didn't pull the trigger on any trades before Tuesday's deadline, but Bill Belichick acknowledged the team might still make an addition at a position of need.
Belichick said on WEEI's Ordway, Merloni, and Fauria that the team's lack of depth at running back is a concern
"We just got back a few hours ago, so we'll kind or recalibrate here and see where we're at relative to who's available and how we want to structure our game plan and what we want to do there," Belichick said. "That's one of the things we're going through (Tuesday). But it's a consideration, and I'd say it's a concern."
Rookie running back Sony Michel sat out Monday night's game after suffering a knee injury in Week 7 vs the Bears. Luckily, Michel appears to have avoided major injury but his absence vs the Bills certainly was felt.
Cordarelle Patterson, normally a wide receiver, had 10 carries in the contest while James White and Kenjon Barner combined for 10.
