Well, history was made at a snowy Gillette Stadium this afternoon.

Cam Newton became the first Pats quarterback to ever tally a receiving touchdown. He caught a 19-yard pass from wide receiver Jakobi Meyers in the third quarter, which tied the score at 14. The Patriots ultimately won 28-14.

Newton has struggled as a passer throughout the season, but he had no such trouble versus the Jets. He completed 21 of 30 pass attempts for 242 yards with three touchdowns and zero interceptions.
Newton's four total touchdowns represent a season-high for him in what might have been his final game with the Patriots.
