Chris Hogan thanks Patriots fans, organization for 'an incredible 3 years'

Chris Hogan has a message for Patriot Nation.

The former Patriots wide receiver, who signed with the Panthers earlier this offseason, took to Instagram to send a sincere "thank you" to the organization and fans.

Just wanted to finally say thank you to all of patriot nation, the patriots organization and all my teammates. It was an incredible 3 years and I am blown away at the amount of support My family has been been given from teammates and fans. I Made a lot of memories in New England and more importantly a lot of friendships that I will have for the rest of my life. I enjoyed every second that I spent in Boston, playing, working, daily grind of the season, they were all unforgettable seasons. 3 years and 3 Super Bowl appearances is something you only dream of as a player. So thank you to all my teammates, coaches and fans for letting me be a part of 3 very special teams and great city. That being said I am beyond excited for the next chapter of my career! Panther nation letsssss gooooooooo! You will get nothing but my best effort day in and day out. And lastly a big thank you to my family for always supporting my dream. @ashleykayhogan without you none of this is possible. #panthers#patriots #newchapter

Hogan tallied 1,651 yards and 12 touchdowns in his three seasons with New England. While he never became a primary option for Tom Brady, his effort and work ethic didn't go unnoticed, especially by his teammates.

As he begins a new chapter in Carolina, Hogan should be a more prominent target in an offense led by another former NFL MVP in Cam Newton.

NFL Odds: Patriots open at 10-point favorites over Jets in Week 7

NFL Odds: Patriots open at 10-point favorites over Jets in Week 7

The Patriots rolled to a 35-14 victory over the Giants on Thursday Night Football in Week 6 to improve to 6-0 on the 2019 season thanks to another impressive performance by their defense.

In order to start 7-0, they'll have to grow through a rejuvenated Jets team on Monday Night Football on the road. It's a game they should win, and it appears the oddsmakers agree.

New England is 4-2 against the spread in 2019 and manhandled the Jets in Week 2. However, New York didn't have Sam Darnold at quarterback and now they're coming off a win over the Cowboys that saved them from an 0-5 start under new coach Adam Gase.

Couple that with the fact that the Patriots offense has been abysmal as of late and the Jets are sporting a top-10 defense, and this New England team could be in store for a fight next week.

We have a long way to go before game day arrives, and the Patriots are also dealing with a 10-day break in between games. They have plenty of time to prepare for Jamal Adams and company.

Patriots rookie Chase Winovich apologizes to mom after being fined for TD celebration

Patriots rookie Chase Winovich apologizes to mom after being fined for TD celebration

Chase Winovich's first NFL touchdown on Thursday night didn't come without a price.

The Patriots' rookie defensive end celebrated the occasion by launching the ball into the stands, which led to him being fined roughly $7,000 by the NFL. It was Winovich's first TD since high school, so the moment certainly was worth every penny, but the former Michigan star does have one regret.

Winovich took to Instagram on Sunday to apologize to his mother for the costly celebration.

"Sorry mom for launching that new car I promised you into the stratosphere during my celebration! Love you! 😌💓," he wrote.

Take a look below:

The new car for Ms. Winovich may have to wait, but it likely won't have to wait too long. The Patriots' third-round pick looks well on his way to being a standout player in the league for years to come.
