As if Jimmy Garoppolo didn't do enough damage to the pick the Patriots acquired for him, the Pats got more bad news Friday.
With the Raiders and 49ers tied in the standings, a coin toss was determined to see who would pick ninth or 10th overall. The 49ers won, which means they would get the higher first-round pick, but it also meant the Raiders would pick higher in the second round. That means the Raiders will pick 41st, while the Patriots, who own the 49ers' second-rounder from the Garoppolo trade, will pick 43rd.
The Patriots now own picks Nos. 31, 43 and 63 over the first two rounds.
