Donald Trump jokes daughter Ivanka could have married Tom Brady instead of Jared Kushner

Patriots

This is just what Patriots fans want to hear.

There's been reported tensions with Bill Belichick, an absence from voluntary workouts and a storm-off from media availability for Tom Brady after a reporter questioned the connection between Julian Edelman's suspension from PED's and Alex Guerrero's training methods.

We were missing something like this. The President of the United States, Donald Trump, jokingly admitted he could have had Brady as a son-in-law instead of Jared Kushner. Kushner is married to Ivanka Trump, Donald's oldest daughter.

Ivana, Trump's ex-wife, wrote in her book last year how Donald attempted to set Ivanka up with Brady.

He said, ‘You have to meet him!’ But Ivanka wasn’t into it.

Anthony Scaramucci, former White House Director of Communications for Trump, suggested Brady and Ivanka did date at one point. This also ties into Brady's reported support of Trump in the 2016 election, though his wife Gisele Bundchen denied it.

Did they date? Was Brady open to meeting Ivanka, but she turned him down? What if Brady was son-in-law to the President?

All questions I'm sure the Patriots would be enthusiastic to answering during seemingly one of their most important training camps to date.
