Ex-Patriot Trent Brown is recruiting Le'Veon Bell to Raiders on Twitter

If Trent Brown is trying to ingratiate himself to the Oakland Raiders' fanbase, he's using a pretty good tact.

The former New England Patriots offensive tackle, who reportedly intends to sign a massive contract with the Raiders in free agency, either knows something we don't about Le'Veon Bell's plans or is trying to convince the All-Pro running back to join him in Oakland.

Bell isn't expected to re-sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers in free agency, and there is some buzz around him and the Raiders. Bell's ex-teammate, Antonio Brown, reportedly is heading to Oakland, while former Raiders defensive end Akbar Gbaja-Biamila sent a cryptic tweet Tuesday morning suggesting Bell may be joining his old club.

But NFL Media's Ian Rapoport suggested otherwise Tuesday afternoon, reporting the New York Jets and Baltimore Ravens are the two finalists for Bell in free agency.

Perhaps that explains why Brown is making an aggressive push for Bell, who sat out the entire 2018 season but amassed 1,946 total yards from scrimmage with Pittsburgh in 2017.
