Former Patriots defensive end Cassius Marsh, who last week lamented the lack of fun he had in his time in New England under Bill Belichick in a San Francisco Chronicle interview, again trolled Pats fans in a since-deleted Reddit video.
Here's a portion of his latest comments, transcribed by Pro Football Talk.
“I just want to address all you Patriots fans who don’t like this new article. I’m sorry to hurt your feelings,” Marsh says on the video. “Seems to be breaking your heart. But if you can’t handle the truth, stay off my page. Don’t read articles. That’s how I felt. That’s how I still feel and I’m grateful to be away from there, grateful to be where I’m at.”
Marsh, 25, now with the San Francisco 49ers after he was waived by the Patriots last November, played nine games for the Pats after being acquired in a trade with the Seattle Seahawks for a fifth-round pick last September. He had 14 tackles and one sack in his brief stay in New England.
Marsh's comments echoed those of a Patriots opponent, Eagles offensive tackle Lane Johnson, who ripped the Pats as a "fear-based organization" after Philly's Super Bowl victory over New England in February.
Contrary to Marsh, current Patriots linebacker Marquis Flowers, a former Cincinnati Bengal, said he's "having a blast" as a Patriot.
Interesting! Marsh My dawg I’m not gonna knock him! I felt that same way about my time in Cincinnati! But I will tell you on my end I’m having a BLAST! Most fun I’ve had and I love it here 🤷🏾♂️ https://t.co/80igVUOA4m— Marquis Flowers (@MFlowers59) May 28, 2018
