The Robert Kraft drama continues with a ruling from a Florida judge on Tuesday that temporarily barred the release of surveillance footage of Kraft paying for prostitution.
According to The Boston Globe, a judge said that "the 'fairly unremarkable' allegations have dominated the headlines because the defendant owns 'the most successful franchise' in the National Football League."
The protective order temporarily bars authorities from releasing the now infamous "tape" which purportedly shows Kraft at the spa.
As The Boston Globe points out, "releasing such evidence to the media would routinely occur under Florida public records law."
This does not mean the tape will not be released to the public, only that it should remain sealed in anticipation of Kraft's trial, should it occur. Judge Leonard Hanser ruled that, "The Court concludes that Defendant's right to a fair trial requires the disputed videotape be withheld from Intervenors for a limited duration as described specifically, below."
Judge Hanser then proceeds to outline what took place at the spa and the basis of the decision.
Kraft, while he apologized for his actions last month, continues to fight them in court.

The ultimate fate of whether or not the video will be released, or possible NFL discipline, like the outcome of Kraft's case, remains to be seen.
