Future coach Tom Brady? Patriots QB gives emphatic answer to potential career

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady made it quite clear he has no interest in becoming a coach once his NFL playing days are over.

Brady was asked by reporters after Thursday's joint practices with the Titans in Nashville about one day squaring off against former teammate and Tennessee head coach Mike Vrabel on the sidelines, and the 42-year-old veteran quickly replied, "Oh hell no, I'm never coaching. Playing is enough for me."

The six-time Super Bowl champion probably would make a good football coach. He's always been one of the smartest and most prepared players in the league throughout his career. He's also been able to watch, study and build a strong relationship with the best coach in NFL history, Bill Belichick. His alma mater, the University of Michigan, also could use a head coach that is capable of beating rival Ohio State on a consistent basis (sorry, Jim Harbaugh).

Brady's comments aren't too surprising, though. Spending time with his wife and kids, and growing his TB12 business/brand probably will take up a lot of Brady's post-career time.

Report: Patriots expected to re-sign Nick Folk on Saturday

Report: Patriots expected to re-sign Nick Folk on Saturday

It's no longer a mystery who will kick for the New England Patriots vs. the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.

The Patriots are expected to officially re-sign Nick Folk on Saturday, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. Folk was released by the team and replaced with Kai Forbath prior to last week's game vs. the Houston Texans after undergoing an appendectomy.

In three games with the Patriots this season, Folk has made seven of nine field goals and all three extra-point attempts.

Patriots vs. Chiefs Week 14 injury report confirms Tom Brady's toe is fine

Patriots vs. Chiefs Week 14 injury report confirms Tom Brady's toe is fine

Tom Brady apparently wasn't lying when he suggested his toe injury is nothing to worry about.

The 42-year-old quarterback wasn't listed on the New England Patriots' final injury report Friday ahead of their game against the Kansas City Chiefs after popping up on Thursday's injury report with toe and elbow injuries.

The Patriots officially ruled out center Ted Karras (sprained MCL) and defensive lineman Byron Cowart (head) for Sunday's game, while the Chiefs will be without running back Damien Williams and cornerbacks Morris Claiborne and Rashad Felton.

New England listed six players as questionable for Patriots-Chiefs, including wide receivers Julian Edelman (shoulder) and Mohamed Sanu (ankle) and offensive lineman Marcus Cannon (illness).

The good news for the Patriots is the flu bug appears to have stopped spreading; backup quarterback Cody Kessler wasn't on Friday's injury report after appearing on Thursday's report due to illness, leaving Cannon as the only player still under the weather.

Here are the full injury reports for both teams entering their Week 14 matchup at Gillette Stadium.
