You know how Red Sox fans occasionally criticize owner John Henry for paying more attention to Liverpool FC, the English Premier League soccer team he owns, than to his baseball team?

It appears Manchester United fans are feeling your pain. Supporters of that Premier League team sound none too thrilled that the Glazer family, the American owners of Man U and the NFL's Tampa Bay Buccaneers, is shelling out a reported $30 million a year for a soon-to-be-43-year-old quarterback.

The Daily Express of London, sampling Man U fans' reaction to the Brady news, said the soccer team's followers were "reacting with fury," quoting one upset over the Glazers "spending all of our money on Tom Brady's wages" and another saying, "Glazers got Tom Brady. It's over at Man United.”

"The Glazers sign an overpriced, past-it star in Tom Brady: United fan view" was the headline a Manchester United fan website, United in Focus, used on their fan reaction story.
