Robert Kraft's attorneys appeared in court in Florida on Tuesday.
According to WPTV's Merris Badcock, Kraft's counsel asked the court to allow New York City Attorney Alex Spiro to join Florida Attorney Jack Goldberger in representing Kraft in the case.
Kraft's attorneys "do not want to waive a speedy trial in Kraft’s case," and are "discussing pushing up a hearing on a motion to suppress the sneak-and-peek video [to allow] a trial in May."
Surveillance video of Kraft's alleged criminal activity inside the now infamous Florida massage parlor has been a major focus in the investigation, as Kraft's legal team is fighting hard to keep the video from being made public.
Badcock reported that Kraft's attorneys will file additional paperwork to further argue in favor of suppressing the release of the tape.

On the flip side, networks CBS and CNN reportedly have joined a long list of other media networks in filing motions in opposition to suppressing the release of the tape.
Kraft’s other attorney William Burck was reportedly not present for the hearing.
The judge apparently noticed some “deficiencies” in Kraft's attorneys’ court filings to allow the request for Spiro to also represent Kraft in the case, finding that an amended "pro hac vice" application was needed. This allows an attorney from another jurisdiction to be able to participate in a specific trial in another jurisdiction.
Badcock also reported that Kraft's attorneys, "will file amended motions which will be granted ex parte. [This] means [that] Kraft will get his high profile attorneys to represent him in the case once the amended motions have been filed."
There were reportedly no objections from the State of Florida.
Regardless of what happens next, Kraft's legal proceedings will no doubt continue to attract attention.
