The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have skyrocketed up the Super Bowl odds board with former New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady reportedly expected to sign with the NFC South franchise in NFL free agency.
Even the mere rumors of Brady going to Tampa Bay led to sportsbooks increasing the Bucs' odds of winning Super Bowl LV, but now that it actually looks like he's going there, oddsmakers have placed his new team among the top five favorites for the Lombardi Trophy entering the 2020 season. Let's also not forget the Buccaneers are hosting Super Bowl LV at Raymond James Stadium, and no team has ever won a Super Bowl in its home arena.

These odds make sense.
Even with Brady and a talented offense highlighted by top-tier wide receivers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, the Buccaneers are not better than the New Orleans Saints or San Francisco 49ers. The Seattle Seahawks, as usual, continue to be undervalued at most sportsbooks. The Green Bay Packers, who took huge strides defensively last season and still have an elite quarterback in Aaron Rodgers, also are a better team than the Bucs.
