Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski's first game of their post-New England Patriots careers is in the books.
They took the loss Sunday in their Tampa Bay Buccaneers debuts, falling to the New Orleans Saints by a score of 34-23. It was a game that started off promising for Brady and his new offense, but there were plenty of growing pains for the ex-Pats QB and tight end.
Here's how Brady and Gronk fared in their first game with the Bucs, along with highlights:
Brady's first completion: 29 yards to Godwin
First TD as a Buc ...
... and first INT
Brady's first Bucs passing TD goes to Howard
Brady connects with Evans for the late TD
Brady's final stat line: 23/36, 239 yards, 2 TD, 2 INT, 1 rushing TD.
That walk into the stadium pretty much was Gronk's only highlight on the day as he was mostly a non-factor. The 31-year-old finished with only two catches for 11 yards in his first appearance in more than a year.
