Add Jets safety Jamal Adams to the list of people who aren't convinced that Rob Gronkowski's football career is over.
The former Patriots tight end announced his retirement in March, but Adams isn't buying it according to Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News.
#Jets safety Jamal Adams says of recruiting Le’Veon Bell to NY: “Just call me LeBron.” And asked about Rob Gronkowski retiring says, “He ain’t fooling me. He’ll be back.”— Pat Leonard (@PLeonardNYDN) April 5, 2019
Adams isn't the only member of the Jets to say such a thing. His new head coach, Adam Gase, shared the same reaction.
It's tough to blame Adams, Gase, or anyone else for believing that Gronkowski could eventually return to the gridiron. After all, not even Gronk's own agent is ruling out a potential return for the future Hall-of-Famer.
