Jonathan Jones reached out to Josh Allen after hit that left QB concussed

Jonathan Jones' hit on Bills quarterback Josh Allen in the New England Patriots' Week 4 matchup in Buffalo was the hit heard around the world.

Jones ended up knocking Allen out of the game Sunday, and the QB still remains in concussion protocol as of Friday afternoon. Although Bills head coach Sean McDermott thought the hit was dirty, the Patriots ultimately disagreed -- and Jones has neither been fined nor suspended by the NFL for the hit as of this writing.

Obviously injuring Allen was not Jones' intention, and the cornerback reached out to Allen via social media according to USA Today's Henry McKenna.

Allen is listed as questionable for the Bills' Week 5 matchup against the Tennessee Titans. If he is unable to take the field, all signs point to Matt Barkley getting the start Sunday.
