Edelman celebrates Patriots' win vs. Chargers with fitting slogan

The New England Patriots were firing on all cylinders in Sunday's Week 13 game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

They dominated in all facets of the game. The offense scored 31 points, special teams added two more scores and the defense held a talented Chargers team scoreless for the first time all season.

It all added up to an emphatic 45-0 win at SoFi Stadium.

Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman was unable to take part in the victory due to injury, but he celebrated his teammates' impressive performance with a fitting slogan on social media.

The "Beat L.A." mantra will remain with the Patriots for another week because the team's next game is against the Los Angeles Rams.

The Patriots will face the NFC West-leading Rams in a pivotal "Thursday Night Football" matchup that they desperately need to win to keep their hopes of reaching the AFC playoffs alive.

Instant overreactions to Patriots' win over Chargers

New England will enter Week 14 trailing a wild card spot by two games, and time is running out with just four matchups remaining on the regular season schedule.

The Pats have history on their side as they prepare for this game versus the Rams. New England hasn't lost to the Rams franchise since 2001 -- a streak of six consecutive wins, including a Super Bowl LIII triumph over Los Angeles during the 2018 season.
