Edelman has A+ reaction to Parker wearing No. 11 for Pats

It looks like Julian Edelman's old No. 11 jersey will be passed on to a new Patriots wide receiver next season.

DeVante Parker, who donned No. 11 during his Miami Dolphins tenure, teased a first look at him in a Pats uniform on Instagram. Wearing Edelman's former number, the veteran wideout captioned the photo, "I don't give a damn if u like it or not."

Edelman caught wind of Parker's post and reacted with this perfect GIF in a since-deleted tweet.

Parker wearing No. 11 with New England hasn't been made official, but fellow Pats receiver Kendrick Bourne seemed to confirm it with his comment on the post.

“Oooweee that 11 looking clean!! ” Bourne wrote. “This man finna ball!”

No Patriots player wore Edelman's No. 11 last season following the three-time Super Bowl champion's retirement.

The Patriots acquired Parker from the Dolphins earlier this month in exchange for a 2023 third-round draft pick. The 29-year-old tallied 40 receptions for 515 yards with two touchdowns in 10 games last season.
