Kyle Van Noy has awesome response to Patriots defense's goal line stand vs. Bills

Few outcomes are more rewarding for a defense than making a goal line stand late in an NFL game, and the New England Patriots did that Sunday against the Buffalo Bills.

The Patriots escaped New Era Field with a 16-10 win in their Week 4 matchup, and a stop at the goal line in the fourth quarter played a pivotal role in the result.

The Bills had a 1st-and-goal at the 8-yard line with 13:14 remaining in the fourth quarter. The Patriots were leading 16-10 and a touchdown for the Bills would have forced Tom Brady to lead another game-winning drive.

Buffalo couldn't find the end zone, however. A second-down throw by Bills backup quarterback Matt Barkley to wide receiver John Brown set up 3rd-and-goal at the 2-yard line, and that's when the Patriots defense stiffened. Bills running back Frank Gore was tackled for a 1-yard loss on third down, and then the Patriots forced an incompletion on fourth down to regain possession.

Patriots linebacker Kyle Van Noy had a passionate reaction to his team's goal line stand. Warning: The following tweet contains NSFW language.

Van Noy was one of the best players on the field Sunday. He led the Patriots with eight tackles and two sacks, along with two forced fumbles and two QB hits.

The win improves the Patriots' record to 4-0, and they now have sole possession of first place in the AFC East.
