Kyle Van Noy sounds off after FOX Sports snubs Patriots' secondary

Kyle Van Noy has found more evidence to prove his defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots are underappreciated.

The outspoken Patriots linebacker directed his Twitter followers to this evidence Thursday, quote-tweeting a FOX Sports poll that asked fans to choose the best secondary in the NFL from a list of four teams ... that didn't include the Patriots.

You didn't think Van Noy would let this one go, did you?

Van Noy obviously is a little biased. But Gilmore was ranked as Pro Football Focus' top cornerback in 2018, while the 23-year-old J.C. Jackson and the 25-year-old Jonathan Jones blossomed into significant contributors.

Van Noy also shouted out twins Devin and Jason McCourty, "holy s*** Swiss Army Knife" Patrick Chung and "The Closer" Duron Harmon while pointing out New England's secondary helped limit the high-octane Los Angeles Rams to just three points in Super Bowl LIII.

The Patriots' secondary doesn't have the same star power as units like Eddie Jackson's Chicago Bears, but "star power" never has been the m.o. in New England, which is perfectly content racking up wins over personal accolades.
