Former Patriots running back LeGarrette Blount has signed with the Lions on a one-year deal worth $4.5 million, Ian Rapaport of NFL Network reports.
Blount gained 766 yards and scored two touchdowns on 173 carries last season with the Super Bowl champion Eagles. The 31-year-old should provide a big help to a backfield that ranked dead last in the NFL in 2017.
