The New England Patriots have made another addition in NFL free agency with the signing of safety Cody Davis, his agent tweeted Monday.

Davis most likely would fill a special teams role for the Patriots, potentially as a replacement for Nate Ebner, who recently left New England to sign with the New York Giants.

The 30-year-old veteran spent the last two seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars, and he played 382 special teams snaps (third-most in the league) and 68 defensive snaps in 2019. Davis played the first five seasons of his career with the Los Angeles Rams from 2013 through 2017.

Davis also won money on CBS' "The Price is Right" in 2017:

He joins Beau Allen, Damiere Byrd, Brandon Copeland, Adrian Phillips, Dan Vitale and Brian Hoyer among the reported Patriots additions in free agency so far.
