Curran: As flaws emerge in contenders, Pats keep walking the walk
Barring an unforeseen development (or two) over the final month of the regular season, we're going to have a two-man race for Offensive Rookie of the Year.
It's between Jones and Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase.

Chase still has a shot. He's tallied 50 receptions for 906 receiving yards and eight receiving touchdowns through 11 games. The former LSU star ranks sixth in yards and tied for fourth in touchdowns among all wideouts.
The Bengals are in a playoff spot and sit just one game behind the Baltimore Ravens for first place in the AFC North. If Chase closes the season strong and Cincinnati wins the division, it's possible he could overtake Jones and win the award.
That said, quarterbacks typically get a lot of love from voters with these awards. Leading a team to a division title and potentially the No. 1 seed in the conference as a rookie quarterback would be quite impressive. Jones would be an easy pick in that scenario.
