No two NFL teams will be compared more often in 2020 than the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Former Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is expected to sign with the Buccaneers in NFL free agency, and all eyes will be on the 42-year-old veteran in his first season without head coach Bill Belichick.

Patriots fans essentially have two teams to watch next season. Even if they won't admit it now, it's going to be hard for Boston sports fans to not pay attention to how well the Bucs play with Brady at quarterback.

Oddsmakers are among the people curious to see which team finishes 2020 with the better record. In fact, William Hill has released a win total prop allowing sports bettors to wager on which of these two teams will win more games in 2020. The Bucs currently are slight favorites.

Both teams have tough schedules for 2020, but the Patriots have the more difficult road.

New England actually has the hardest schedule in the league based on opponents' 2019 win percentage (.537). The Patriots are playing a first-place schedule that features matchups versus top AFC contenders like the Baltimore Ravens, Kansas City Chiefs and Houston Texans. The Pats also will play the NFC West, which has four quality teams, including the defending NFC champion San Francisco 49ers.

Expectations will be very high for both the Patriots and Bucs in 2020, and it'll be fascinating to see which team is able to win more games. You can bet Brady and Belichick are both extremely motivated to show they can succeed at a high level without the other.
