Tom Brady and the New England Patriots crushed the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 1, and with elite wide receiver Antonio Brown expected to make his debut in Week 2, the defending Super Bowl champions have opened as massive favorites versus the Miami Dolphins.

The Patriots are 16-point favorites (!) in their Week 2 matchup, which, when you think about, is appropriate given the results of the Week 1 games.

Not only did the Patriots dominate the Steelers in a 33-3 victory Sunday night, the Dolphins were equally bad in their season opener against the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens went into Miami and beat the Dolphins 59-10 behind five touchdown passes from second-year quarterback Lamar Jackson.

The Dolphins were expected to be one of the worst teams in the league this season, but after Sunday's performance, it would be pretty surprising if they didn't end up witht the No. 1 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. The Patriots, meanwhile, steamrolled through a veteran Pittsburgh team and their defense looks much-improved from last season.

Dolphins head coach Brian Flores was quick to announce Sunday afternoon that Ryan Fitzpatrick would keep his starting job entering Week 2. Backup Josh Rosen might give Miami a better chance to beat the Patriots, but Fitzpatrick's experience makes him the safer choice. Fitzpatrick has a 2-9 record in his career versus the Patriots.
