NFL rumors: Ex-Patriots CB Eric Rowe to join Dolphins

The ex-Pats exodus to Miami continued late Tuesday with the news that former New England cornerback Eric Rowe will join the Dolphins, per the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Rowe, 26, was on injured reserve with a groin injury for most of last season, his third with the Patriots. He played in just four games in 2018.

Rowe played 27 games in three seasons and had two interceptions and 17 pass breakups. In Miami, he'll join former Patriots defensive play-caller Brian Flores, who is taking over as Dolphins head coach. His former cornerbacks coach in New England, Josh Boyer, is now the Dolphins pass game coordinator. Ex-Patriots assistants Chad O'Shea and Jerry Schuplinksi are also on Flores staff and earlier this week, Miami agreed to a free-agent deal with ex-Pats tight end Dwayne Allen.
