Logan Ryan didn't just win two Super Bowls with the New England Patriots; he's also the unexpected answer to a trivia question.

That question: Who caught Tom Brady's final pass as a Patriot?

Ryan's pick-6 in last season's AFC Wild Card Game sealed Tennessee's victory, but it was also Ryan's second-to-last game as a member of the TItans. With Tennessee apparently not interested in bringing him back, Ryan is looking for a new team — and that landing spot could come with the Jets.

According to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News, the Jets believe they're about to sign the seven-year veteran to a one-year contract.

The 29-year-old would be a boost for the New York secondary, coming off a season in which he ranked third in the NFL with 18 passes defensed while racking up 113 tackles, 4.5 sacks and four forced fumbles.

But after making $10 million last season, Ryan says the Titans didn't offer him a contract this offseason, explaining what happened on the "Double Coverage" podcast hosted by Devin and Jason McCourty.

“They never really tried to bring me back. It was kind of the whole ‘You know, we’ll monitor the market, you’re probably going to get too much and we probably can’t afford because we got a lot of players on this team,' " Ryan said. "I was willing to come back and work with the team on a one-year deal to earn the right for an extension or to go back to free agency next year. I just wanted my salary that I made last year. You play well in a contract year, you're going to get paid. I wanted to keep that thing going, but they weren't really interested in that."

If he lands with the Jets, Ryan will join a pass defense that was mediocre in 2019, ranking 17th while allowing 236.2 yards per game.
