NFL rumors: Ndamukong Suh returns to Buccaneers to help Tom Brady in 2020

Tom Brady denied Ndamukong Suh a championship ring when the New England Patriots beat the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LIII. They'll try to win one together on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020.

Suh is returning to the Bucs on a one-year contract, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Suh tallied 2.5 sacks, 41 total tackles, four passes defensed and four fumble recoveries in 16 games for the Buccaneers last season. His return helps solidify a talented Tampa Bay defensive front that also includes 2019 sack leader Shaquil Barrett, who was franchise tagged by the Bucs early in free agency.

Tampa Bay's defense was pretty good last season, especially over the final eight games. The Bucs were particularly strong against the run, allowing just 3.3 yards per carry (tied for the best in the league).

Brady took his talents to the Buccaneers on a two-year contract that could earn him as much as $59 million, including $50 million guaranteed.

The arrival of Brady and the return of Suh understandably have Buccaneers fans as excited as they've ever been for a season. Oddsmakers are similarly optimistic and have given the Bucs the fifth-best betting odds to win Super Bowl LV.
