As Tom Brady reportedly heads to Tampa Bay, a former Buccaneer is shipping up to New England.

The Patriots agreed to terms on a two-year, $8 million contract with ex-Bucs defensive tackle Beau Allen, according to Adam Caplan.

Allen was a member of the 2017 Philadelphia Eagles team that defeated Brady's Patriots in Super Bowl LII.

The 28-year-old appeared in 13 games last season with the Bucs, tallying 0.5 sacks and 10 total tackles. He's spent six seasons in the NFL, four with Philly and two with Tampa.

Allen presumably fills Danny Shelton's role in the Patriots defense as the ex-Pats defensive tackle agreed to a deal with the Detroit Lions.
