Myles Garrett totally embarrassed himself, the Cleveland Browns and the NFL on Thursday night by ripping off Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph's helmet and hitting him on the head with it in the final 10 seconds of the fourth quarter.
It was one of the craziest scenes in league history, and it sparked a full brawl between the two AFC North rivals.
Check out the incident in the video below:
Garrett no doubt will be suspended. The only question is how many games he'll get. Many players and media members immediately called for the Browns defensive end to not play again in the 2019 season, while others went a step further and suggested legal charges should be pursued.
The Steelers quickly tried to defend their quarterback as the fight unfolded, and Pittsburgh offensive lineman Maurkice Pouncey actually tried to kick Garrett as he was down on the ground. It's possible Pouncey could be suspended for his actions as well.
Here's some of the best Twitter reaction to the crazy Garrett-Rudolph incident:

Bro i can’t even believe that just happen.— Patrick Mahomes II (@PatrickMahomes) November 15, 2019
Myles Garrett just did something that I’ve only seen in NFL practices. Guaranteed to be suspended.— Cris Carter (@criscarter80) November 15, 2019
And btw....neither Pouncey nor DiCastro should be suspended AT ALL. All they did was protect a defenseless teammate — who happened to be their damn QUARTERBACK. They shouldn’t be penalized at all.— Stephen A Smith (@stephenasmith) November 15, 2019
Boy mason ate that helmet tho 😭— Tarik Cohen (@TarikCohen) November 15, 2019
He’s done for the rest of the year— Dez Bryant (@DezBryant) November 15, 2019
That. Is. Insanity. Wow.— JJ Watt (@JJWatt) November 15, 2019
Myles Garrett should absolutely be suspended for that garbage!— Damien Woody (@damienwoody) November 15, 2019
That’s assault at the least... 6 months in jail on the street.. now add the weapon and that’s at least a year right?!— James Harrison (@jharrison9292) November 15, 2019
In all my life of football that might have been the craziest thing I have seen on a football field! They about to suspend Myles Garrett for 30 years! People getting stomped out, that was a hood fight! 🤦🏾♂️ Hate to see that in our game that’s not what pro football is about!— Reggie Bush (@ReggieBush) November 15, 2019
1) Very thankful Rudolph is ok— Dan Orlovsky (@danorlovsky7) November 15, 2019
2) Myles Garrett should not play in the #NFL for the rest of the season, & that’s the minimum. DONT EMBARRASS THE SHIELD
3) He should have criminal charges pressed on him
4) The Haslam Family should take it upon themselves before Goodell does.
Honestly, what number would surprise you for a Myles Garrett suspension? 16 games? Indefinite? #Browns— Jon Doss (@JonDoss) November 15, 2019
Myles Garrett should not be allowed to play another snap this season— Kyle Juszczyk (@JuiceCheck44) November 15, 2019
Prior to Thursday night, Myles Garrett had already been fined twice for penalties he committed this season. pic.twitter.com/3lGV7meQac— SportsCenter (@SportsCenter) November 15, 2019
"You snatch a guy's helmet off, take the helmet and hit the guy in the head. At the bare minimum, Myles Garrett's gone for the rest of the year. Now if it was me doling out the discipline, I'm going to bleed it into next year. I'm giving him a total of 10." — @ShannonSharpe pic.twitter.com/ZuQo8ebFB4— UNDISPUTED (@undisputed) November 15, 2019
