New England Patriots fans apparently weren't very hospitable to Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes' girlfriend Brittany Matthews and brother Jackson Mahomes on Sunday.
Matthews live-tweeted her experience at Gillette Stadium during the Patriots-Chiefs matchup, and other than the game's outcome, it doesn't seem like it was all that pleasant.
Matthews claims Patriots fans yelled at her and Jackson to sit down and Gillette security even stepped in to move them to a safer location.
You can read her tweets below:
This place is horrible, people already yelling every time I stand up, am I not aloud to stand up for football game?😲🤔— Brittany Matthews (@brittanylynne8) December 8, 2019
I was told if I stand they will call security and kick us out, can’t stand for your team? Some fans y’all are 😂🤔— Brittany Matthews (@brittanylynne8) December 8, 2019
Gillette security came and got us and moved us to a safe place 🙌🏼 that’s how you know it was bad🤔🤔— Brittany Matthews (@brittanylynne8) December 8, 2019
She made sure to throw another jab at Pats fans on Monday morning as she continued to receive trash-talk on Twitter:
Matthews and the Mahomes family got the last laugh on Sunday as the Chiefs went on to defeat the Patriots, 23-16.
